Hi, I'm hiitsme2023! My PIP assessment didn't go as I expected, any advice?

Hi all I got a copy of my pip assessment today I scored 10 points but got them points on problems I did not expect I got nothing for my depression or anxiety the report said not on medication for anxiety but I am really not happy the way I’ve got the points definitely not what I expected

    You're not alone in being disappointed with your assessment, unfortunately lots of our members have had similar issues and it can really take it out of you. I'm going to pop your post over to our PIP section so they can share their experiences.

    I got enough points but not in descriptors I was there for I have ptsd depression anxiety take meds but got the points 2 in 5 descriptors not expected

    This is one issue that affects a lot of people. It happens when you don't fully understand the PIP descriptors and what they mean. Points can be recommended in descriptors you weren't expecting.     Please also remember that the report is not the decision. It's a recommendation only. Whilst they mostly go with it, it has been known for them to go against it. Once you receive the decision if you're not happy then you can challenge it by requesting the MR.
