I applied for uc in May and handed in a sick note on the 30th May and sent sick notes continuously until I was informed of my entitlement of lcwra on 14th August I got my first lcwra payment on 1st October am I entitled to any back payments????

Based on that information your first payment would be 1st October, which you received so no LCWRA element is owed.This is because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. It's then paid at the end of the 4th month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.Your waiting period will be May/June, June/July, July/August... LCWRA starts from assessment period 25th August to 24th Sept and first payment was 1st October.If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you started your claim and you didn't previously have the work allowance, you will be owed some money for that.0
