I am 68 years old and had a knee replacement 5 months ago. I am currently on the list to have my other knee replaced. Would I be entitled to any benefits and is so, how would I apply?

There's no benefits you can claim based on any diagnosis. As you're over state pension age if you don't already claim a disability benefit you can look at claiming Attendance Allowance. It's a disability benefit awarded to those that need extra help either during the day and/or night. It doesn't have a mobility part just the care part.
