Waiting times will be different depending on each individual case, as well as backlogs. You can contact HMCTS and ask what the estimated timescale is and they will give you some idea but it's only a guide. Some wait as long as 1 year.

    Hi Poppy123456

I have contacted HMCTS via online webchat and they couldn't say how much longer I will wait for a date.

After reading alot of the comments over the past year on this site, it seems that newer claimants cases are being scheduled more quickly, but like you say, it depends on the area and backlog.

You misunderstood what you read. New claims are not quicker for Tribunals, the wait is still quite long, whether it's a new claim or not.

What you read was new claims are quicker from the date of claim up until DWP make a decision. This doesn't include MR and Tribunal stage.

    Hiya,

I'm also waiting for a date for a tribunal in Hampshire. We got told it was 23 weeks max wait a few weeks Go and the standard email came through of it was ready to list they were just waiting for a convenient time and date for the judge. I've been waiting 26 weeks nearly now so I'm hoping it's soon!!
