I just been awarded LCWRA i put my first fit note in 28th feb i believe u dont get paid 3 months because off waiting period so will i get backdated money thanks

First payment will be either June or July. The exact date will depend on what date your assessment periods cover, or what date you usually receive your money each month.This is assuming the decision was LCWRA and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.Money owed will be paid seperately to your usually monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.0

If the 28th Feb was the same date you reported your health condition then your waiting period will be as follows. March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 24th June to 23rd July and first payment would be 30th July. Therefore up to now they owe you 3 months LCWRA element.This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes and you continued to send them until a decision was made.0
