Hello - if I was 3 points away from getting the higher rate can I appeal the decision? My condition has got worse from the first time I applied for PIP. I am also using my aids now.
Could I lose the standard rate if I lose the appeal?
Any tips would be a great help!

They will not take into consideration any worsening of condition since the assessment took place.If conditions have got worse you can report changes but more forms will be sent out to you and another assessment is most likely. A worsening of condition also does automatically entitle you to more points for a higher award.
Once the decision is made your award could stay the same, be increased or stop completely.0
