Heya @interestingtree The cost of living payment all depend on which benefits you're claiming and for how long. You can read more about the payments on our site here. Which benefits are you currently claiming?
I'm afraid I cant advise on loans, but I'm sure another of our regulars will be able to answer that for you soon.1 -
If it’s Universal Credit you’re claiming then for the cost of living payment due from 31st October you must have been entitled to a payment of UC for an assessment period that ended between 18th Aug to 17th September. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment#low-income-benefits-and-tax-credits-cost-of-living-payment-eligibilityFor a budgeting advance, then you need to pay off the existing one first and then apply for another. It’s not guaranteed whether they will agree to the loan, if will depend on what it’s needed for. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/on-universal-credit/budgeting-advance/1

@poppy123456 yeah I pay my budgeting off the day that my statement comes in and says on the what I pay back part says repaid so I'm guessing I'll be able to apply for another on the 2rd since it says repaid0
