First payment will be either Sept ot Oct. The exact date will depend on what dates your assessment periods cover or what date you usually receive your money each month.

Thank you Poppy for your reply. All my medical information was supplied on 5th of July so assumed that would be time for my assessment which was On the 25th October.
The UCD35 form from universal credit was dated 2nd June for WCA so is this this the date it starts from.
Sorry if I am not grasping what you mean0 -
Hi @Ball10 - the extra amount for LCWRA is paid 3 full months after providing a fit note, but as this is paid in arrears, then payment will be seen in your next assessment period (these say from, for example, 5 Nov -4 Dec). We need to know when these assessment periods are, or the day you're normally paid your UC to work out when you should receive this extra payment. The date on your form doesn't matter.0

All of that information is irrelevant. It's the date you usually receive your UC payment that we need to know.

That means your waiting period is June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept… LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th Sept to 9th October and first payment would be 16th October. This means up to now you’re owed 1 months LCWRA element. It often takes quite a few weeks to pay what is owed and it will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.
You need to check your next statement to make the the element is included. This is assuming you’re not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.0 -
Thank you for the reply. Much appreciated.1
