PIP - How long is the wait for the first payment?

Good Afternoon,

I was awarded PIP last week, for 5 years, to be backdated until April this year. After you receive the text, but not yet received confirmation in letter. How long on average do you normally wait for your 1st payment? I did try calling earlier but was left on hold for a very long time.

Money owed is usually in your bank within 3-5 working days after payment was sent. When you will receive it will depend on when payment was sent. 

Your first 4 weekly payment will be about 4 weeks later.
