No response from the job centre is delaying payment

Hi all
On the18th October I submitted a change to say I was self employed. This was because I was going to start selling online and I wanted to be proactive. However on the same day I was told I would not be able to as I don’t have any valid photo ID as my passport is expired. I sent a new journal message explaining and submitted another change to say I was not self employed and made no additional money from it. It was all within 24 hours. I had a journal response stating they had passed the message to the job centre. I woke up this morning and my new statement was showing. I rang and they say another message had been sent on Saturday morning to the job centre as they needed to take of the self employed thing. She said as it was the weekend I should be one of the first messages picked up this morning by the job centre. I also sent a journal message and they said they had sent an urgent message to the job centre. Given I haven’t had any response from the JC since 18th October I am really worried. My payment is due on Friday and I can’t afford not to have it as I also haven’t had my cost of living payment. I don’t know who else to contact as there is no number for the JC and they aren’t contacting me.

Has there been any changes to your statement? If there hasn't then i wouldn't worry too much at the moment. The money you will be paid will be what's showing on your statement and that won't change now.For the cost of living payment, if you were entitled to a payment of UC for an assessment period that ended between 18th August to 17th Septemeber then you're entitled to it. There's many people that haven't yet received it. There's a couple of weeks left for them to pay it and you will evenetually receive it. It will be paid as a seperate payment to your usually monthly money.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
