As I think you may already know, PIP isn't based on any diagnoses. This because you could have several people, say all with COPD, & they'll all likely be affected differently. PIP is rather about how such disabilities affect your ability to 'reliably' attempt/do certain activities of daily living, & if these affect your mobility too. So if something takes a person longer, or they become breathless as a consequence of attempting an activity, then these are the sort of things which may be considered.Some may not be awarded, some may get the standard rate, & still others might get the enhanced rate. They could all be awarded for different lengths of time too, so it would be difficult for people to compare themselves to others I'm afraid for this, or any other health condition.0
