I have just received a text from the DWP stating the health professional has sent in their report and a decision will be made in the next 6 weeks? What is confusing me that other than the review form I have not had any kind of face to face or telephone assessment at all? The health professional did contact my GP about safeguarding a month ago because they were concerned about my welfare but they have never spoken to me myself.

Does this mean they are assessing without an interview? On the one hand that is wonderful, on the other hand I don't really understand what this means or if they may have just dismissed the whole form and will refuse it. Previously I have always had face to face interviews?

Could anyone explain this to me please? I am panicking.

It means you've had a paper based assessment and they had enough of information to write the report without the need for an assessment. Very very rare to have a refusal based on a paper based assessment.

Now the report is returned a decision can take up to 12 weeks.
