edited November 2023 in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi all  .. I just got awarded LCWRA this week, and I'm confused (well, my advisor is, I think). Now I think I will get the extra payment on the 3rd of January. My advisor is telling me on the 3rd of December.

The first sick note was placed on August 4th ..Right through to when I had my decision letter this week , my payment dates are  the 27th to the 28th of each month. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Also, another quick question: is it normal for UC to take £144 PM out of me for my deductions (budgeting loans) (advance payment)? It just seems  a lot.

Thanks in advance.

28th to 27th sounds like your assessment periods, not your payment dates. Which seems correct as your payment date would then be 3rd of every month.

Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be August to November.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 28th Nov to 27th Dec and first payment is indeed 3rd January. You were correct.

I believe the maximum is 25% of your standard allowance for repayment of budgeting loans and advance payments.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
