Lwcra payment query

Hi I know I asked this before but now have full details says my assessment period started July 24th 2023 to august 24th 2023 was awarded lwcra on 21st august after phonecall .so by now my 3 month ap must be done by now should of finished 24th November haven't heard anything else but would like to know  when I can expect first payment and do get paid for them 3 months sept Oct Nov.and would they owe me any backpay which I doubt as after being awarded I had 30.pound sent to me from dwp for some reason thankyou if you can help.

In your other thread you said your first fit note was 25th June, can i please just check that this is correct? You can check your journal to see what the actual date was that you reported the fit note, not the date on the fit note. Based on the information you gave here then it must have been later than 25th June.

Hi I put on my journal I have a fit note on 25th June 2023 it was for 3 weeks .on 10 July a health report change became effective on 10th July which restricted my ability to look for work or work.sometimes it was difficult to get fit note on time after it run out due to being unable to get doctor appointment  like one time it took them 3 weeks to give me fit note but they was backdated to dates of when the last one had run out

I can only advise based on the information you give. Gaps in your fit notes can affect when the extra money is paid from. 

Your assessment periods are 25th to 24th of every month and it seems like they’ve gone from 25th July as the start of your waiting period, which means your first payment will be 31st November. 

Does your statement this month include the LCWRA element? 

If that £30 was from UC then you should have received a letter on your journal telling you what it was for.

Hi I get paid split payments uc paid half on 14th and other half 31st this months statement is based from 25th Oct to nov24th.nothing about lwcra .says on journal should see on my statement nov 25 to Dec 24th it should show lwcra then

Based on the information you gave here I disagree with there decision. I know you get your payments twice a month because you mentioned that in your previous thread. 

You mentioned gaps in your fit notes but they were backdated. What dates were the gaps exactly please? As I advised, gaps can affect when the extra money is paid from, even when a fit note is backdated. You can check all the dates on your journal.

Fit note from 25th june then journal said 27th July declare new fit note competed 31st july fitnote completed 17th June to august 10th it was accepted next fit note 8th august to sept 8th fit note accepted. Fit note accepted for 8th sept to  Oct 25th these are all on my journal

Then as I advised in your other thread your waiting period is June to Sept. LCWRA starts from assessment period 25th Sept to 24th Oct and first payment will be 31st Oct. Please note my advice is based on the information you’ve given.

Put a message on your journal under the payment section and tell them that your calculations say that your first payment should be 31st October.

Hi on my journal it said you was awarded in assessment period 25th of July to 24th august awarded lwcra on 21st of august we do not count this assessment period we count 3  assessment periods on after this then you would see amount showing on  statement  ap-25th august to sept 24th then .25th sept to 24th  Oct. then 25th Oct to November 24th then says once the above has passed  you will then see lwcra on your statement assessment period 25th to 24th Dec

I can only advise based on the information you gave me but if I’m honest it’s not clear. Earlier in the thread you said there were gaps in your fit notes and some were backdated. Then you said you didn’t know if they were any gaps. 

In this thread you said it was awarded on 21st August but in your previous thread you said you didn’t have the assessment until 13th October. 

The waiting period starts from when you reported your health condition, providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made. 

It’s 3 full assessment periods and then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that 4th month.

Hi it is confusing sorry yes I had my lwcra phonecall on 13th Oct and then had message saying on my journal that I had been awarded lcwra 5 day later awarded from 21st august.there had been some gaps due to not being able hold of doctors on phone as unable to physically go there then receptionist saying no appointments left all the time which made it difficult

The gaps can affect when it's paid from but you haven't told me how long the gaps were exactly. If there were gaps when you first started sending fit notes and then you continued to send them without gaps from a certain point then they would go from that time. This maybe what's happened but it's impossible to advise without more information.

You can do as i advised and put a note on your journal under the payment section and tell them the date you sent your first fit note and ask why the waiting period hasn't started from then and wait for a response.

Hi poppy I put on journal why wasn't  25th july to 24th of august  included  in ap.the only reply from them was your lwcra will show november25th to dec24th statenent so no explanation what so ever despite asking them to check if everything was corret
