The majority of people find the whole process very stressful. Now the report is returned a decision can take anything up to 12 weeks. Once a decision is made you will be contacted.

Hiya @cazag62 and welcome to the community! I hope you're doing ok after your assessment?  The waiting is often the worst part.  But we're all here to support each other when needed. :)

If you wanted to take your mind off things, we have a coffee lounge for chatting and a games room for some fun little games.

I’d call and request your assessment report that is what I did to see if it was hopeless or not

A lot of people find that reading the assessment report makes them feel worse so I wouldn't request it unless you feel like you can cope with added stress when you are already feeling stressed

Hey @cazag62, I know how stressful it is. I've been dealing with PIP myself these past few months.

Just remember that no matter the initial result you have 2 steps to appeal the result, and the final one is in front of a tribunal who will make the decision. Not the DWP.

We're always here for support, I know the waiting is awful and it can be hard to find distraction when it's so on your mind.

@cazag62 I can't suggest anything without sounding insincere as everyone handles things differently.  I would have a drink and a pen and paper nearby, take as much time as you need  to answer questions, ask the assessor to repeat questions or rephrase them if you need to. You might want to have sentences to refer back to on your paper sort of prompt notes you can refer back to if you're afraid you might forget to mention something.
