Help needed - another assessment required

Hi all, just seeking advice on my mum's pip claim, she applied for pip in August 2023. She first had a phone assessment then was asked to come for an in person assessment in November. She was told nothing more was needed and she would receive a decision within 12 weeks, she just had a call from capita saying she needs another phone assessment in end of January 2024. She is a bit confused as to why another assessment is needed as she's had to already. Can anyone advice if this is normal and what to expect, does she need to repeat what she's said in the first two assessments she's already had.
