Waiting on appointment

I’m currently waiting to be offered an appointment for my ADHD assessment and I’m worried that the person assessing me won’t listen to me. I’m surrounded by people telling me I can’t possibly have ADHD as well as ASD because I’m not super hyperactive and bouncing off walls and stuff. It’s super invalidating as they won’t even listen to any reasons as to why I think I might. And I’m so worried the assessor will be the same. Does anyone have any experience with adhd assessments that wouldn’t mind sharing the process?
