40k rumours? Are you’re asking about some newspapers that tell you that DWP are paying out X amount of money to some claimants? One thing about newspapers is they never print the whole story and only ever tell part of it.Back in 2016/17 there were changes to following and planning a journey and engaging with others. (social support) it may mean that some people are owed some money. It doesn’t apply to everyone. There’s some information here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/overwhelming-psychological-distress-and-journeys-changes-to-pip-law-from-28-november-2016
and here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/social-support-changes-to-pip-law-from-6-april-2016
I always say to take what you read in those papers with a large pinch of salt.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
