My PIP timeline and unusual query
So I applied for pip 19th January 2023, I was awarded standard daily living 11 points and 0 for mobility.
I took it to MR and it came back no change
I took it to appeal 31st January 2024 and WON my case! The daily living was changed to 11 points (standard daily living) and mobility was changed to 20 points (enhanced) which I'm happy with.
Dwp have now sent it back to the courts as there was an error in the paperwork. They put that I was entitled from 19/04/23 but my claim started 19/01/23. So now they need the original judge to amend it before anything on my award can change.
Has anyone experienced this before and how long am I likely going to have to wait this time.

Hello @charliex2202
Welcome to the community!
I haven't heard of that kind of situation before and I am so sorry that it has delayed your award! Can I ask, have you got support around you in the meantime? 1 -
It does sometimes happen but not often. There's no timescales I'm afraid. It's now down to the judge to correct that error.1

Yeah I know its just super frustrating as I started this process over a year ago. I hoped that finally winning the appeal and hanging in there despite the stress and anxiety the long wait caused would be the end but now the wait begins again and it could be weeks or months. Sorry if that sounds ungrateful.poppy123456 said:It does sometimes happen but not often. There's no timescales I'm afraid. It's now down to the judge to correct that error.0 -
You don't sound ungrateful at all. The fact is the court found you should have been receiving this money back when you got your original decisions nearly a year ago. It is frustrating and it's okay and normal to be frustrated about it! And it felt like it was finally all over with but a minor issue has dragged it out again.
I'm happy you finally got what you're entitled to. It hopefully won't be much longer.1 -
I appreciate that, I just feel so drained and my anxiety Is through the roof especially as there is nothing more I can do and no way to chase it up. Everything is in the judges hands now but after a year and 2 months of waiting I am exhausted 😩.Jimm_Scope said:You don't sound ungrateful at all.
