Confused, PIP text message saying they’re looking at my Pip part way through my claim period

Hi there, this is my first time claiming PIP. This afternoon I received the text message from PIP, I’ll included with this discussion. My award period was from 26th May 2022 to 11th March 2025, received a tandard rate for both elements. My circumstances haven’t change in a positive way, become worse, complicated chronic and progressive disease. I haven’t told PIP of deterioration as yet. Is a normal message to get part way through? Or is it a mistake? Has anyone else received this text? Is it a scam message? My partner and I are just in migration onto UC from New style ESA, also first time. He also receives PIP same end date approx but no text message. We had our first meeting last week with UC, we told them my partner cares for me but we haven’t claimed anything for him doing so yet. Could this be what has triggered the text message, I don’t know if either departments communicate with the other. Any information would be appreciated, cannot find anything to answer online. Going to call them tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance Newbie

This is not a normal text message to receive at this stage. Though they can review you at anytime. If they do that then I would expect them to send a review form first.
The text has nothing to do with your recent UC claim. As this a completely different benefit. It could have been sent in error. I’d advise you to ring PIP in the morning. If you don’t have any joy with those then ring Independence Assessment Services.
Please note, you will not be migrating from New style ESA to UC because your ESA is not part of UC.0 -
Thank you Poppy123456 for your advice, I’ll be calling in the morning0

This thread is almost 5 months old and the member hasn't been active since so you may not receive a reply. If you haven't recently applied for PIP or you're not currently going through a review of an existing claim then I'd advise you to ring them tomorrow to ask what's happening.
