I'm not aware of any new rules made in 2024. With your statements for UC what dates do your assessment periods cover?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

You will receive the statement, you just need to wait. Sometimes my daughter's statement arrives arrives the day after her AP ends and sometimes it's 2 days.

If your savings were over the lower limit then yes it's normal for them to ask for bank statements once they drop below that limit.

The UC appointment my son had to attend yesterday was about showing them bank statements. I assumed it was triggered by his reducing the amount he reported after I read on here about the COL payments being disregarded. I took the opportunity to ask them lots of questions and try to get them to sort several things out. I coped far better than when I am being questioned about myself as I was  able to wear my parent mask!!
