Can you please repost without such an offensive title ??

Yes, I can read thank you but I don't often read a book but I wouldn't call myself ignorant, I'm far from it. I find this thread quite offensive!!2

Capitals are counted as shouting online & rude, preaching when not invited can be taken as the same.

I would love to read, but I struggle to read having ADHD and Autism. I just end up reading the same lines over and over and nothing sinks in. Ocassionally I will find a book and I can finish it, but most of the time its a real struggle to finish a book but I wouldn't call myself ignorant because of it.

I agree the title off this thread is shocking 🤦♀️1

I think they didn’t mean it as in anyone who doesn’t read is ignorant, more the type of ignorant like you’re missing out and unaware of how amazing books can be. Not ignorant like the insult of being an ignorant person
Not the clearest title but I don’t think it was meant to be offensive ❤️
what do you like to read @icicle39??1 -
Thank you0

rubin, I totally identify with your description. It's so reassuring to find others with a similar experience of trying to read books (thanks again Scope)
Biblioklept, I agree which is why I asked icicle to repost with a better title rather than report the post to moderators.
Icicle I know how hard it is to join in as a new member and books are a great topic! I hope I haven't upset you.
