You can ask Motability to extend your lease on your current vehicle if a decision hasn't been made on your review by the time your lease is due to end. As you maybe aware, you need at least 12 months remaining on your current award to place another order for a vehicle.1

My PIP runs out In July 2025 how long before they contact me for an assessment0

At the moment it's 8 months before so about November. This means it's unlikely a decision will be made on the review before your current lease is due to end so you will need to extend the lease.0

I have had a letter for my pip review my award runs out July 2025
There are two questions if any one can help please how long will my review take as my leases on my motorilbitly car run out in July as well
What happens if the review takes longer than July what do I do with car lease

I do know reviews are taking up to a year at the moment. If it gets near to July and your review isn't complete, the DWP will extend your award.
Perhaps have a browse of this section for some other member experiences.

Your mobility vehicle lease will be extended until the decision is made on your review.
