Applied for PIP by post

Hi all, just got a text today from DWP stating PIP has been awarded. Hurray! I was just wondering if anyone else applied by post, and if so if the award was backdated to the date you sent a letter asking for an application form - or backdated to the date on the actual application form itself? There were a few weeks between sending off for an application and receiving one (in hindsight should have done it online/via phone, but oh well)

Hello @htrifgla
Welcome to the community!
Just wanted to commend and say woohoo on being awarded! It is backdated to the date of the claim, so the date of when they received the application. 0
