If a benefits claim is suspended for any reason then DWP do share information with a Local Authority. You will need to ring your council tomorrow once they open.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

I can understand that this might depress you but trust me you won't get a brain tumour, is there anyone who can speak to the DWP and council to get to the bottom of what's going on ?

Hi @zane, please try not to worry, you wont get a brain tumor from worrying. :)
Have you spoken to your council about this yet? Did the DWP say they'd restart your benefits once they've looked at your bank statements?
