Hi recently been migrated to UC, i have health conditions and uc50 form has been received and sent back last week, deadline was 15th april we sent it back quick. Looking at the online journal it states my wife doesnt need to look for work or apply for work. Theres an activity which states what jobs she can do and what help she needs should wca say she fit for work, she needs to do this by 29th march? Where does she do this, there is nothing on the to do list? Will she have to attend job centre? She has health conditions which make it difficult to travel to JC.
All rather confusing wca decision will not happen by friday so i dont understand..

Jobs
I am not required to look for or apply for jobs at this time. My work coach will tell me if this changes.
I will review my commitments and meet these responsibilities.
Activities
I've agreed with my work coach that I'll:
I will ensure that I update my online account with any change in my circumstances i.e. Change of address or telephone number, including any reports of sickness and I know I must maintain contact with my work coach.
I will think about what work I can do with my current health conditions and situations. by 29 March 2024
I will think about and document what kind of support I would personal need if my WCA assessment comes back that I am fit for work. by 29 March 2024

I would expect her to have a work focused interview (appointment) to talk about these 2 things.yellowamber said:I will think about what work I can do with my current health conditions and situations. by 29 March 2024I will think about and document what kind of support I would personal need if my WCA assessment comes back that I am fit for work. by 29 March 2024
It could potentially be quite a few months yet before a decision is made on her WCA.0 -

My wife is not fit to do no work as she has serious health conditions which are only getting worse by time.0 -
Potentially she maybe given an appointment this week. If she does then you can put a message onto her journal to ask for a telephone appointment.
Edited, distractions at home and re-read first comment again.0 -

They are not expecting her to work or look for work right now. It does seem like her commitments have been reduced, which is good.
Also who is the work coach the same one who we met in feb?0 -
I edited my comment above, apologies, distractions at home and realised what you wrote in your first comment.
Her commitments are asking her what work she could do with her current health conditions. When claiming UC you're treated as a job seeker until a decision on the WCA says otherwise.
It's a work coaches discretion to either turn off or reduce commitments, some do and others don't.
I don't know if the work coach will be the same as the first one you seen, sorry. Sometimes they do change.0 -

If you or her haven't already explained her health conditions to her work coach then you can do that. However, there's not been any appointment made yet so you just need to wait to see what happens.1

We sent UC50 form last week recorded delivery, do you usually get acknowledgement by text they have received the form?0
-
No, not usually. This form is sent straight to the Health Assessment Advisory Service rather than to DWP so they should receive it quite quickly.1

The UC50 form is not returned to DWP. As I advised above it will have been sent straight to the health assessment provider because DWP are not responsible for those, the assessment providers are.1
