Hi, my name is zunnurain! My 1 year son has talepis. What can I do while waiting for appointment?

My 1 year son has talepis. We asked gp to refer for a proper professional of it and they recommend hospital. And said that it may take 6 months to get appointment. My son wants to stand and it pains me when I see it and think about the distant appointment. Please recommend me what I can do now?
