Can anyone tell me what’s the process for pip reviews , I’ve read if you get awarded 2 years they add on a year for the review is this correct so you have 2 years in total then a year for the review process , sounds wrong to me.  mines nearly 5 months so far awaiting a decision still  , got recommended for 2 years from HP so does that mean IF I get it these 5 months are gone already then in a years time I would have to apply again so soon for it to be added up to 2 years? Sorry to sound  silly

Hiya @midnight1980 it is all a tad confusing so don't worry!

The award is usually set from the date of your application until the award end date.  But they will contact you a few months before that end date to ask if you want a review.
Also, you wont know how long your award is for, until you actually get your award. I hope that makes sense?

That's not correct. If you were awarded for 2 years then your review would be about 8 months before your award is due to end, at least that's what it is at the moment.

If at that time there's still very long delays with review decisions then your award would continue until a decision is made on the review.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
