Hello, I hope you are all well.
My current therapist feels I may have ADHD and Autism, so I
have just started the process of getting an official diagnosis.
Would anyone know of any good resources or websites online that they would recommend. I am 41 if that helps. I am also in the Berkshire area, so if anyone knows of any face to face groups.
Thank you,
Sunshine

Heya @sunshine I was late diagnosed on my 44th birthday, so I can totally understand the feelings of confusion right now. I found social media to be a great place to look for information, especially Youtube. 'The Aspie World', 'Orion Kelly That Autistic Guy' and 'I'm autistic, now what?' are a few good channels to start with.
The National Autistic Society is usually peoples first port of call after diagnosis and there's a lot of resources available on there.2 -
@Albus_Scope Thank you so much for your reply and the resources you mentioned. It really is so daunting, yet kind of a relief as it explains a lot of my symptoms/behaviours. Thanks again 😊1

Just take things easy and be gentle with yourself, it can be a lot to take in. But you'll be ok.
Will you let us know how you get on please?1 -
Thank you @Albus_Scope, I will take things one step at a time.
Of course, I will let you know how I get on. Thank you very much1
