I contacted dwp for my swedish state pension and they say it takes up to 6 months to process but are sending me a form is this right

I'm no expert here but why would you contact DWP about your Swedish state pension? I had contacted them and completed forms but because of brexit at the moment the British government do not have an automatic Reciprocal arrangement with Sweden so the Dwp state pension are sending me a form to complete so they will then look at my pension claim I have enough nat ins in both countries and I am still working as well.0
