Hi everyone I currently do 22 hours as a single person on UC I’ve been trying to look for a weekend job and also asked my current job for extra hours which they can’t provide me. I’m constantly worrying that UC will ask me to do more hours
Can anyone tell me if 22 hours a week is ok??

Hello @GemmaBentham, welcome to the community
This will depend a bit on what commitments you have set on your Universal Credit claim and whether they expect you to be looking for full-time work. You can find these by logging in to your Universal Credit account. If you've had a work capability assessment and have been told you have limited capability for work (LCW) or limited capability for work related activity (LCWRA), that can also change how many hours you'd be expected to work if any.
I'll pop your post over to our UC boards too so more members can find it and share their experiences. I hope you'll find our community friendly and useful!
