Hi Jan, are you looking to claim Pip for yourself and have carers allowance for looking after someone else? Yes you can0

Heya @Jan_1962 and welcome to the community.
Both people will be able to claim PIP, that's not a worry at all. And carers allowance can still be claimed I believe?0 -
Hi to everyone, I've been suffering with depression and anixity for a couple of years now, but it got worse September 2023, went doctors February 2024, Mental health services April, now on waiting list for counciling, should I apply for PIP now.0

Hello, you have a diagnosis? You can apply for pip but being awarded is based on how your difficulties affect you on a day To day basis.

I,ve had a Post assessment with a moderate score for low mood & anixity, and been referred for talking therapy, would I be able to send this letter in as evidence for pip, as on waiting list for therapy ?, I also take medication.0
