Hi there, I am on the lower rate of Universal Credit and struggling financially, and sent off the health questionnaire to apply for LCWRA on 20 Dec 2023, I telephoned them to see if they had received it ok as had heard nothing, they say they have it and I am in a queue for an assessment but nothing yet ( 20/4/24) does it usually take this long? I am in Essex.
I am on the higher rate of Pip for mobility and living but understand these are not linked.
thank you

Waiting times do vary considerably depending on backlog and each individual case. If this isn't your first work capability assessment then reviews do tend to have longer waiting times.1
