Hi there @kyle24 and welcome to the community. :)

On your UC journal, did they upload a letter stating you'd been accepted? It should say if you're LCW or LCWRA on there.  If not, it's worth leaving a note on your journal to ask for clarification.

Hi Thank you I will put a note in my journal to find out.

If I have been accepted for LCW and not LCWRA can I appeal or apply to get the desition changed ?

No problem @kyle24 you can certainly ask for a mandatory reconsideration, then if that is also unsuccessful, you can go to a tribunal. Which is a load less scary than it sounds!

Did you receive a decision letter in your journal? You should have. As Albus has advised it will tell you in the letter what exactly the decision is.

If it says Limited Capability For Work, that’s LCW.

If it says Limited Capability For Work Related Activity then that will be LCWRA.

Please check the letter and have another read.

Hi my UC message back straight away and I have been accepted for LCW not LCWRA.

Do I message my UC asking for a mandatory reconsideration?

Yes you can put a message on your journal stating why you think you should have been found to have LCWRA and your reasons why.

If you haven’t looked at the descriptors to see if any apply then you can see them here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity
