For those waiting and worrying about PIPs application and Timeline!

I started my application on the 8th Jan this year, filled out the application form a week or so later with the help of Citizens Advice (well worth asking them for help!) It then just took forever, one letter to say they had got the forms and then silence until about the 5th of this month (April) when I finally had my Telephone assessment. I was told to expect a wait of around 12 weeks for a decision, after a couple of weeks got a txt saying they had everything they needed but no decision yet. Today I got my letter (no txt to say I had been awarded though) that I have been awarded what I was told I should get!
I'm posting this as another member did similar and the timeline was helpful to me, but also to point out that just because you don't get one of the txts that a lot of people do, it doesn't mean your application has failed or will take much longer.
Its a real worry and quite stressful with all the waiting and interviews etc, but stay on track, do what they ask, try and be patient (I know for many its quite desperate waiting for much needed help) and above all stay positive.
I hope everyone gets what they need and want to say thankyou for the help I have had here in the community, I will continue to pop in
