Hi I applied for PIP in November 2024. After bring with the auditors for 5 weeks I finally got the text on the 24/04/2024 saying DWP have received the written report. I called the same day to ask for a copy of the report and to my amazement the report landed on my door the next day. After reading the report, I worked out I would have got 12 points for daily living and 24 points for mobility. I was just wondering if the decision makers go with the HCP report? Many thanks 😊

2023 not 20240

Mostly they do but it has been known for them to go against it. The report is a recommendation only and this is why the points are not added.1

Hi @vickiebee, first of all welcome Your report sounds quite promising, the decision makers usually go with the report but as Poppy mentions it doesn't always work like that.
Just incase, you may want to read up about the appeals process against PIP decisions! We have an advice page on it here: Appealing a DWP decision
Best of luck for your decision!0 -
@Jimm_scope thank you so much for replying. Just waiting for a text now to see if I've been awarded🤞1
