im Joey the sloth, im 61 and slow at doing everything. I live alone ( not by choice). I’ve only just been awarded my P.I.P
for 10 years, are DWP going to take my award away does anyone know! I depend on this money!

There’s been so many of these threads this week. No one knows what may or may not happen yet. Until then everything remains as it is now. We also have a General Election this year…

Hi @joeythesloth, welcome to the community. I can understand that it's worrying to hear about, but nobody is at risk at the moment. Everything is all still in consultation so it's difficult to say whether any of the proposals will go ahead or not or when things might happen. As Poppy says, all could change again with the general election, but we'll be keeping everyone informed as we find out more about the government's plans over the next few months. I hope you'll find the community friendly and helpful

Been a difficult evening with news on about the Conservative Party’s proposed change to disabled people’s benefits. Please God they’ll get booted out at the General Election x
