Hi it's me again! Sorry I'm a bit all over the place as my Mum recently passed away and it's all been a blur.
You've been such a help before.
My Husband has been claiming CB ESA for many years in the support group. Will my claiming CB ESA affect his claim. His ESA is deducted from our UC and I know if I'm eligible mine will too. I know we can make separate claims and you've mentioned before there is no such thing as as a joint claim.

Heya @lizptsd firstly I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how wonky life can get when you lose a parent, so please there's no need to apologise, I just hope you're doing ok, all things considered?

I'm afraid I'm still learning about ESA, so don't have the answers, but hopefully one of our super knowledgeable regulars will be along shortly to help. I just wanted to say hi. :)

Thank you that was very kind,
I'm doing ok but as her carer for 26 years before she went into a home we were very close. She was 99 so did very well ❤️

Sorry for your loss. Any claim you make for New style ESA will not affect your partners ESA because they are both not means tested.
