Hey.
I'm puzzled as to why my universal credit hasn't increased yet.
I get paid on the 10th of each month and it didn't go up last month and I had this month's payslip and it still hasn't increased. But the benefits went up in April?
But my pip increased?? Anyone help?

PIP is a weekly benefit and UC is a monthly benefit and can’t pay part weeks. No one received the increase last month. The first to see the increase will be those with assessment periods that start on or after 8th April with payments from 14th May. You will see your increase in next months payment.
Everyone will still be entitled to the 12 increased payments throughout the year.2 -
Does it get backdated then?
And thanks for the info poppy:)0 -
When you receive your payment on 10th June that will be for the period 4th May to 3rd June because UC is paid 1 month in arrears. It won’t be backdated any further than that because there’s nothing to backdate.1
