Contribution only ESA and no HB migration

Just read on another well known forum that they are also migrating contribution based only onto UC.I didnt think this was the the case.Has something changed recently? I have no HB as savings over £16K. Thanks.

You have either misunderstood what you read or the person that posted that has given incorrect information.Contrubutions based and New style ESA are not part of UC so will not be migrated across.
Some people are still claiming the old contributions based ESA which may include the Income Related top up, if so then yes they will be migrated across for the Income Related top up part but their contributions based part will continue as normal but be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.1 -
That confirms how i understood the situation. The incorrect comments where later corrected by a different moderator later in the thread, as it had caused multiple people the same concerns.

My contribution esa is coming to an end this month and I have just won my appeal for lcwra i have only had a letter of dwp to say my esa will finish but no explaining the next step in regards to my lcwra can you kindly explain any of this for me thankyou.will I be put in the support group.?0 -
