    l do not leave my house, l go into my back garden, l have been like this for over 20 years now, l am so frightened l will be told l have to go out there and find a job l would rather die first, if l lose pip and my benefits l am affaird of what will happen, l am 62 years old and now terrified of my future, do not know what to do

    What was announced is proposals only at the moment so no changes yet and everything will remain as it is for now at least. With a General election this year those changes may not even happen.

    Hi @jackieskyla, welcome to the community.

    Sorry to hear you're feeling so worried about losing your benefits, I can totally understand why you're feeling this way with everything that's been in the news lately. As Poppy says, these are currently just proposals and we're not sure if or when anything will start to change. You can read Scope's explanation of the proposals here, and if you're feeling up to it you can respond to the proposals to let the government know what you think.

    You're not alone in the way that you're feeling, but I hope the community can be a place of support for you :)
