Home visits from care home, will SDP be paid

Hi All, I was wondering if someone could help me, as I struggle to find a clear answer.
If a person lives in a care home their daily living of PIP stops after 28 days and so their SDP on their ESA. However, people who are spending nights elsewhere can claim those payments back from PIP for every night out. I wanted to ask though if such person could not claim back the SDP as well in a situation when no one claims Carer's Allowance for them? Would they also need to be staying alone (I'm just thinking about the rules for getting SDP in a first place). Please share your experience, thanks a lot.

They would still need be living or treated as living alone. If they will be staying with other adults then they must all be either registered blind or claim a qualifying disability benefit their self.
