Mental health

Today l had a visit from a CPN and a mental health social worker.
I told them to leave because the contents of their discussion was making me poorly.
I was left suicidal.
What can you do when the people you rely on for a duty of care leaves you worse off.

Im sorry they left you so distressed. Its very upsetting when caregivers cause harm, the last people that should do so. You need to report anything that is a concern to another party. In confidence to them by email (proof )You need to do so in case anything goes further or comes of an incident.

Sorry this happened to you @123dhills, that doesn't sound good at all. Are you still having suicidal thoughts or do you feel safer now?
Mind have some information about making a complaint a health or social care. If you'd like to look into it, that might be a good place to start. The part about getting support with your complaint might be especially useful if you'd like someone to advocate for you or advise you on your next steps.
If you'd feel comfortable, you could email the team responsible for your care, or write them a letter so it's all in writing in case you need a record of it like hyacinth mentioned. Do you have any contact details for your mental health team that you could use?
Hope things start feeling easier for you soon
