Work assessment appointment
Hi I have been referred by universal credit for a work assessment appointment, I have been off work for 9 months covered by sick notes, I had a uc50 form sent to me in Feb this year but have heard nothing back on that, now I have this appointment, I have rhumatoid arthritis and find it difficult to stand or sit for too long and I'm in alot of pain, should I be worried that they will make me go back to work

Hey there @bevf66 and welcome to the community. :)
I understand the worry as they tend not to give you a lot of information to go on with the texts etc. But please try not to, the assessment is there as a chance for you to explain things in more detail. As long as you score points in one of the sections, you'll be ok. And if they do deem you fit for work, you can still ask for a mandatory reconsideration and then a tribunal if needed. Will you let us know how you get on please?0
