Uc in west midlands

After hard work I had controlled my anxiety and depression but thanks to UC it has all come back double time. I was moved onto UC and it's been 5 weeks without any payments. I am only working part time and receive pip. Now I have been forced into debt because of this move. I was meant to find out today how much my payment will be and nothing has been updated, I've asked on my journal but like usual got no response. I don't know how much I'm getting paid that's if I get paid.

There's always around a 5 week wait ( 1 month and 6 days to be exact) for first payment (if entitled) when you first claim UC. Sometimes your statement appears a day or 2 later than it's supposed to and other times it appears the day before it's supposed to.

What benefits did you transfer from?

What date exactly did you submit your claim for UC? If you login to your journal and click on payments. On there it will tell you what date your payment is due. If it's a weekend you will receive payment on the Friday before, if there's entitlement.

You say almost 5 weeks but first payment takes that long. ( 1 month and 6 days to be exact) You haven't answered the question I asked. What date exactly did you claim UC?

If you're unsure then please do as I advised in my previous comment. Log into your journal and click on "home" then from the list click on "payments." Then read what it says at the top of that page. It will tell you what date any money you're entitled to is due to be paid as well as other information.

I made the claim on 01.05.2024 and on my journal it says I will be told on the 04.06 how much I'll be entitled and will be paid on 08 but I still can't see how much I'll be getting.

Is there anything outstanding on your “to do list” please check. If there is then this maybe why you haven’t received your statement yet.
If there isn’t then because it’s a migration they may not have confirmed all your details yet.
As payment falls on a Saturday it would be Friday that payment would be, if there’s entitlement.
