Refused Lcwra awaiting Pip decision.

I just read that a member of your group also has osteoarthritis of the hips and was refused limited work capability. I just lost my mandatory appeal and have asked for a tribunal. I am in constant pain but UC insists I can work. I'm feeling really down about things and I was hoping someone out there can relate to my situation. Any advice or thoughts on how to proceed with my appeal would be greatly appreciated.

The majority of people are found to have LCWRA believe it or not. I think the amount of threads here asking when the LCWRA element is paid from far out weighs the amount of threads where people have been found fit for work.
Having said that, you can't compare yourself to anyone else, even if someone has the same diagnosis. This is because everyone is affected differently by these conditions and it's not awarded based on any diagnosis. Same applies to PIP.
Have you taken a look at the descriptors for LCWRA? If you haven't then you can see them here.
You need to take a look at those and see which one you think applies to you (and why) the majority of the time. You can request the Tribunal here.
You should request to either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing. Either of those will give you the best chance of a decision in your favour.1 -
Thank you. I will check the links.
