Are you autistic, an autistic person’s parent/carer, or close family member?


We are planning some campaigns to improve public awareness and attitudes towards autism, and we need your help.


We’d love it if you could take our survey and share your views and experiences. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and sharing your views is voluntary and anonymous. This survey closes at 23:59pm on 16 June.

The aim of this survey is to:


  • find out about your experiences of public knowledge and attitudes towards autism
  • find out what you would most like the public to know and how you would like them to act towards you.


We will use the results to shape our campaigns and focus on the things that matter most to you.


At the end of the survey, you can enter a prize draw for a £100 Amazon voucher.

    Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed answering the questions because a lot of them seemed like they were tailored to me even though I'm aware they weren't, which sort of made me feel less alone in a weird way if that makes sense

    The name-calling? Yes, I ticked every one mentioned.

    The NAS needs us - the experts - to tell them how to campaign on our behalf so I hope more autistic members, carers and families of autistic people will fill in this short survey by tomorrow. Thank you all!

    It's a Sunday. I don't think the Scope team are working, and if they are, it will be shorter hours.

    Hi @WhatThe, I've edited the title to say 12 hours as I believe it ends at midnight tonight.

    If you want to raise something for our urgent attention, the best way is to report it as whoever is working that day should receive a notification, whereas posting in a discussion mean we'll only see it when we get to that post. 🙂
