I am currently n receipt of PIP and i have just had to stop working due to a shoulder injury which im awaiting a sick note for and an xray. My question is about loss of earnings and telling the benefits people of my shoulder. Any advice please.

No, you do not need to tell PIP about this. You only need to report changes if it will affect your PIP and you could score more (or less points in some cases) points for a higher award. You must also have had the changes for at least 3 months and expect them to last at least a further 9 months.

You need to be very careful about reporting changes because they will send another form to fill in and return. Once a decision is made your award could either remain the same, be increased/decreased or stopped completely.
