New claim… PIP
I first applied for pip on 22nd February, had my assessment on the 3rd of May, requested my report… which recommends enhanced on both with a review for 2 years time…
Now I called dwp for an update a couple of times…. They have requested information from my doctor on the 10th of May…. Which is fine… Dr fills this in and sends it off on the 22nd May in the post… drs missed issues off but whatever.
looked on my nhs app and they have requested information again via email this time…. What is happening? I don’t want to keep calling them as my anxiety is through the roof. But unsure why there requesting information twice?
how much longer am I expected to wait? It’s been 16 weeks now…

I'm afraid I can't tell you what exactly is happening. Timescales for decisions are up to 12 weeks after the report was returned so you're well within that time frame. There's nothing more you can do but wait. Mostly they go with the report, though it has been known for them to go against it.

hi poppy sorry to bother you.
I have just had a call from a decision maker asking me questions about the dates of my illness’s and stuff and just said I’ll receive a letter within 7-14 days. He called out the blue and now my anxiety is worst he said he needed the information before making a decision. Would a decision be made today do you think?
Thankyou.0 -
hi, never mind. I have called for my award and was awarded enhanced on both.
Thankyou.
