LCWRA decision?
I rang both DWP and the health assessment service today following filling in the UC50 form recently to see where i was on a waiting list for WCA assessment. DWP told me me that there was nothing on their end, so to ring the assessment team, so I did. The assessment team told me that it had been refferred back to DWP for "decision making" on the 13th as they felt they had enough information from my form and medical history to make a decision, and that there was no need for a face to face assessment.
Does this sound like I am likely to be awarded LCWRA? I am confused by the assessment team saying it had been sent back to the UC team for "decision making" as I thought this was their job? I'm worried as well as I am actually working at the moment and fear they will use this against me to refuse a full medical assessment?
It sounds like it might be a little lost in limbo too but I guess I'll give that a few days...

The assessment providers do not make decisions, they make recommendations only. Only a decision maker from DWP can make a decision.
The assessment providers write the report and return it to DWP.
As it’s a paper based assessment then I would expect good news. Strange why you were told that nothing has been returned when you spoke to UC .
